Most of the events organised by Philosophy Sharing are in the Maltese language. This is mainly because we would like to foster a specific Maltese terminology for Philosophy in our attempts to inspire, strengthen and promote philosophical activity in the Maltese islands. This is something which, currently, is sadly lacking. We understand that this may exclude some people who do not understand the Maltese language. This is an unfortunate disadvantage which we regret, although this avenue is being pursued for reasons which we believe are valid and which, we hope, will lead to a richer lexicon of philosophical terminology in the Maltese language. Philosophy Sharing hopes that it may be possible to organise some events in English in the future and these will be publicised on this website and on the Philosophy Sharing Facebook page. The public meetings which Philosophy Sharing organises are free of charge and open to the general public. Some other activities are held at a nominal charge for participants. This would cover running expenses.
On this page you will be able to hear or watch some of the public talks which Philosophy Sharing organised free of charge and which were open to the general public
